Hot / Cold Stone Massage

Aromatherapy Massage

Indian Head Massage

Hot stone massage is one of the most enjoyable and relaxing therapeutic massages available.  This treatment combines the benefits of Thermotherapy (the use of heat applications) with massage strokes, using stones to create a deep, relaxing and healing treatment.

Heated basaltic rocks are used by both placement and by the therapist to perform the massage.  The heat of the stones penetrates deep into the muscle tissue allowing the muscles to relax 4-5 times quicker than in a standard body massage, easing muscle tension and revitalising the muscle tissue by increased blood circulation.

Cold Stones - Promote circulation and act as a powerful decongestant for the body.  By promoting circulation, a cold stone treatment can ease inflamed tissues, decrease muscle spasms, and can reduce swelling or fluid build-up.  Switching between cold and hot applications causes blood vessels to alternately dilate and constrict, leading to increased movement of fluids within the body, increased removal of toxins and increased healing.

Indian Head Massage (Champissage™) includes massage of the shoulders, upper arms, neck, scalp, face, ears and energy balancing.

The massage is very effective and can be done without oils with the client sitting and fully clothed.

It can provide relief from aches and pains, stress symptoms, insomnia, promote hair growth, soothe, comfort and rebalance your energy flow which gives you a deep sense of peace, calm

and tranquillity.

Massage is one of the best ways to enjoy aromatherapy because not only do you receive the healing properties of the oils, but you also get the wonderful benefits of the massage itself.  Their therapeutic action when brought together with the revitalising effects of  massage stimulate all of the organs in the body, plus the skin, muscles, nerves and glands. The increased circulation  of the blood and lymph flow also assists with the clearing away of toxins from the body.
